How to Apply a Summer Savings Code at US Checkout
Add eligible items to your cart. Confirm your shipping address is set to a US address (full ZIP code required).
Tap Buy Now or go to Cart → Proceed to Buy.
Find the Coupon / Promo Code field above the order total.
Enter the Summer Savings code (e.g., USAFF20) and tap Apply.
Verify the discount line appears in USD before confirming payment.
Complete payment via Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, PayPal, or Apple Pay.
If the code returns "Invalid" or "Not available for your region":
Confirm your cart USD subtotal clears the tier threshold shown above
Verify items in your cart carry the Summer Savings / Choice Day sale badge (not all items qualify)
Confirm you are using a US shipping address with a valid US ZIP code, not a forwarding address in another country
Confirm the sale is live — USAFF\* event codes are valid July 1–7, 2026 (PST)
If you are a first-time buyer, the new-user codes (3NEWUSOFF / 5NEWUSOFF / 12NEWUSOFF) only apply to accounts that have never placed an AliExpress order
AliExpress accepts the following for US shipping addresses:
Visa / Mastercard — all major US-issued Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards are accepted. Rewards cards (Chase Sapphire, Citi Double Cash, Capital One, Discover, Bank of America) all process normally at AliExpress checkout. Cash back and points accrual applies on the full pre-discount order value before the promo code is subtracted in most rewards programs.
American Express — fully supported for US addresses. AmEx credit and charge cards (Gold, Platinum, Blue Cash) are accepted. AmEx Membership Rewards points do not apply at checkout directly, but cashback and statement credit cards accrue normally.
PayPal — fully supported for US-registered PayPal accounts. PayPal processes in USD for US accounts. PayPal buyer protection applies to eligible orders in addition to AliExpress's own buyer protection.
Apple Pay — available on mobile Safari and the AliExpress iOS app. Uses your default Wallet card; processed in USD.
AliExpress charges US addresses in USD — no currency conversion or foreign transaction fees are applied by AliExpress itself. Standard card network cross-border fees do not apply to US-to-USD transactions.
Sales Tax and Import Notes for US Orders
Sales tax: AliExpress collects state sales tax in most US states where it has tax nexus obligations. The tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address ZIP code and added to your order total. The promo code discount reduces the item subtotal first; sales tax is then applied to the post-discount subtotal in most states, so the effective tax amount is lower when using a Summer Savings code.
Import rules: US import treatment of low-value parcels has shifted across recent policy cycles, and the duty-free de minimis allowance that long applied to low-value personal imports can no longer be taken for granted. Before placing a large order with the higher USAFF tiers, check the current US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) guidance for low-value imports, since duties and processing fees may now apply to parcels that previously cleared free of charge. For most small Summer Savings orders any applicable charges are modest, but confirm current rules rather than relying on older fixed-threshold guidance.
Carrier and delivery: AliExpress Standard Shipping and AliExpress Choice Shipping are the primary options for US addresses. Delivery times during the sale typically run 10–20 business days for standard shipping. DHL and FedEx expedited options are available on some listings and deliver in 5–10 business days.
Price History Check Before Summer Savings Purchases
Many "discounts" are manufactured. Sellers inflate shelf prices 2–4 weeks before July 1, then apply a badge on July 1 at the same price they have been selling all month. This pattern is especially common in electronics, phone cases, smart home gadgets, and fitness equipment — all popular categories for US buyers during summer sales.
AliShopping's 90-day price history chart shows the real baseline on every AliExpress listing — visible in-page, no extra steps. The chart loads directly on the product page alongside the seller's listed price so you can compare the "Summer Savings price" against the 90-day trajectory without leaving the page.
Before applying any Summer Savings code, check the price history. A $20-off code on a product that was inflated by $25 before the sale saves you nothing net. The price history chart tells you in 10 seconds whether the "Summer Savings price" is genuinely below the pre-sale baseline.
The US Summer Savings sale runs July 1–7, 2026 (PST), promoted as a Choice Day event with up to 70% off on selected items. A warm-up runs June 29–30 with flash deal previews. The dedicated USAFF\* event codes are confirmed from the official AliExpress affiliate brief for this mid-summer window.
Which promo codes work for US shoppers during the July sale?
US shoppers use the dedicated USAFF\* series. Eight tiers from USAFF2 ($2 off $18+) to USAFF70 ($70 off $499+), all in USD with no currency conversion. First-time buyers can also use the new-user codes 3NEWUSOFF ($3 off $10+), 5NEWUSOFF ($5 off $20+), and 12NEWUSOFF ($12 off $80+), valid until September 30, 2026. These codes are confirmed from the official AliExpress affiliate brief.
Does AliExpress charge sales tax during the Summer Savings sale?
Yes. AliExpress collects state sales tax in most US states where it has established tax nexus. The tax is calculated on your shipping ZIP code and added to your order total at checkout. The promo code discount reduces your item subtotal first; sales tax is then applied to the discounted subtotal in most states, so the effective tax amount is lower when using a Summer Savings code.
Does AliShopping Tools work for US addresses during Summer Savings?
Yes. AliShopping Tools detects active AliExpress promo codes — including Summer Savings codes — automatically on every product listing page. US addresses show the USAFF\* dedicated series and any applicable new-user codes. The overlay appears in-page on AliExpress with no manual lookup required.
