If you are shipping to a French address, the AliExpress Promo d'été running June 1–10, 2026 CET unlocks a dedicated France-only code series with eight spend tiers and discounts up to €110 off. France is one of only two EU countries (alongside Germany) that gets a dedicated code pool separate from the broader VIOSS EU codes — the SS6FR series is exclusive to French shipping addresses. A warm-up window runs May 29–31 with smaller daily deals before the main event launches June 1. Which France tier should I pick?
Always use the highest tier your panier already clears. Going up one tier by adding a €3 filler item is fine when the next tier's discount more than covers the filler cost. Quick reference for a typical French shopper:

France-specific quirks
Separate from the EU pool. France gets its own dedicated SS6FR codes. The broader EU VIOSS pool covers AT, BE, CH, CZ, DK, FI, HU, IE, PT, and SE — but not France or Germany. If you try a VIOSS code on a French address, it will return "code non valide pour ta région." Always use SS6FR for French shipping.
Promo d'été branding. AliExpress brands the June event in France as the "Promo d'été" rather than the global "Summer Sale" label. The mechanics are identical to other markets but the marketing copy across the platform — banners, push notifications, in-app messaging — uses the French phrase. This matters when searching the AliExpress app: filter by "Promo d'été" not "Summer Sale" to find the eligible products quickly.
Warm-up Sunday deal (May 31). AliExpress runs a flash Sunday deal on May 31 in Paris time ahead of the main event launch. Selected categories activate a subset of the SS6FR* codes one day early — usually electronics and mode. The deals end at 23:59 CET on May 31 and the regular Promo d'été takes over from June 1.
Casse-Tirelire weekly app-only offer. AliExpress runs a France-only "Casse-Tirelire" (piggy bank smash) in-app offer that accumulates daily savings on Choice products. It runs alongside the Promo d'été but doesn't stack with SS6FR* codes — you'll need to pick one or the other at checkout. Casse-Tirelire typically wins on small carts (<€20); SS6FR03+ usually wins above that.
PayPal and carte bancaire accepted. France supports carte bancaire (CB), Visa/Mastercard, PayPal, and select bank transfers at AliExpress checkout. All are compatible with SS6FR* codes — no payment-method restriction applies to the event series. Some French banks (Boursorama, Revolut) flag AliExpress payments for 3D Secure verification; budget an extra minute for confirmation.
TVA and shipping excluded from spend tier. The minimum spend threshold counts only the panier subtotal. A €135 subtotal stays in SS6FR11 territory even after the platform shows €165+ post-TVA total. Plan filler items against the subtotal, not the displayed total. AliExpress now collects 20% TVA at checkout for orders shipped to France under EU IOSS rules.
No stacking with VIOSS or SS6DE codes. Only one event code per order. The SS6FR series cannot be combined with VIOSS (EU pool) or SS6DE (Germany) — French addresses must use SS6FR exclusively. This is enforced server-side, not just in the UI.

Do France codes work if my shipping address is in Belgium or Switzerland?
No. AliExpress validates SS6FR codes against the shipping country. Belgium and Switzerland fall under the EU VIOSS pool. A SS6FR* code applied to a Belgian or Swiss address will be rejected. Use the relevant country series — see the Summer Sale June 2026 pillar for the full country list.
Can I stack two France codes on one order?
No. The SS6FR codes are single-use per order — only one applies. You also cannot combine an SS6FR code with the Casse-Tirelire offer or with a new user code on the same commande. Pick whichever yields the larger discount on your specific cart.
When do the France codes expire?
All SS6FR* event codes expire at 23:59 CET on June 10, 2026. The May 29–31 warm-up activates a subset of codes one to three days early on selected categories, but the full event runs June 1 onwards. After June 10 the codes return "code expiré" at checkout.
Why doesn't France use the same codes as the rest of the EU?
AliExpress treats France and Germany as their own tier-one EU markets due to volume — both consistently rank in the platform's top 10 EU buyer markets. Dedicated code pools let AliExpress price-discriminate against local competition (Cdiscount, Fnac, Amazon.fr for France) more aggressively than the broader EU pool allows. Smaller EU markets share the VIOSS* pool because their individual volume doesn't justify a country-specific subsidy.
Can I use these codes on a French iPhone or laptop listing?
Yes, provided the listing carries the Promo d'été badge. Most high-value electronics from EU warehouses qualify. Check the listing page for the badge before relying on a code at checkout — sellers can opt out of platform events on specific SKUs, and codes won't apply to those listings.
